Great is His faithfulness!

He who promised is faithful...Hebrews 10.23.
Our methods in achieving His will and purpose may need to change! We are not the church of the 40's, 50's or the 90's. We are the church of the 21st century! Yet God's word is still the same! The gospel message  still saves souls and we must believe there are people still searching for the Lord! We must continue to have our eyes fixed on Jesus no matter what generation! If we are ready, God will supply. That's His promise!

The apostle Paul was so confident in God's promises, He lived his life according to the promises of God! 2 Tim 1: 12 “ For this reason I also suffer these things, but I am not ashamed for I know who I have believed and I am convinced that He is able  to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day” God will make it happen. Here I am, send me!

How did the apostle Paul do it? He took advantage of every possible way to take God's message to His generation! On Mars hill, the apostle Paul stood reaching out for the Greek philosophers in their own turf and using their methods. “Let me tell you about the unknown god”. “He is the one who made the heavens and the earth!”  Acts 17: 22-26. The apostle Paul also used the available methods of transportation to take the message overseas. He sailed the Mediterranean sea. He was even shipwrecked in the isle of Malta! When in town, Paul also preached in the synagogues of the Jews and  used all the methods available to reach people for Jesus!  He knew God had promised that He would take care of him and God's promises never fail!

Another example, the Ethiopian treasurer returning from worshiping the Lord.  Acts 8: 34-39 (read)  Philip joined the chariot of the Ethiopian treasurer and  he taught him about Jesus, beginning on the scriptures which the Ethiopian was reading! We also must take advantage of all our means available to reach out to our generation! If we are going to succeed we must be people of courage and set our eyes on Jesus! God's promises are in Christ Jesus! Believe God's promises!

The world looks at Jesus in many different ways, some look at Jesus with boredom, others with unbelief, there are some that see him as a “good teacher” but nothing more. Some see him as a weak person who was crucified! Others are skeptical, but we, as Christians, see Jesus as Lord of Lords and king of kings! We must look at God with eyes of love and appreciation for what Jesus has done for us, His amazing love and sacrifice for our sins! We are breathless in awe as we grasp the meaning of this great love!

Colossians 1.14  “He is before all things and in Him all things hold together.”
We owe Him our service  Hebrews 12: 1-2. We must be focused in serving Him. We cannot be side tracked, side swiped or sabotaged. We have a mission and we must be about our father's business by looking unto Jesus!  He is the author and perfecter of our faith! Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us...(Heb.12.1)
